hey type “Sakela~The Greatest Festival of Kirat People” and you find more about these people.
also type “Kirat Temple”
This video you will see three phallus stones which is the main deities of the Kirat. But you won’t see any image of Shiva like other Hindu Shiva temple.
see you
Type “Holy in Mongolia” and one sees the stone worshipping in Mongolia.
The relevant video of stone worshiping in Mongolia, existence of Sivaism in China and as far as Japan and comparing with that of stone worshiping by Kiratas in Nepal shows that the worshiping of stone originated from Mongol people and not Vedic Arayan.
Kiratas find refences in Veda, Purano and epics of ancient aryan text.
Here’s the excerpt from “Vedic Aryan entry into Nepal” by Shiva Raj Shrestha “Malla
“The Kiratas of Western Himalayas had hundreds of fortresses and had to fight with the Vedic Aryans. The famous war between Kirati Emperor Sambara and King Divo-dasa is described even in the Rig-Veda. After the defeat of Kiratas, the Nishadhas were the main enemies of the Aryans. Aryans must have realized this and by accepting Kiratas Supreme God Lord Shiva as their own, developed friendly ties with the Kiratas.”
Thank you for putting this on You Tube.
I discovered this over 15 years ago in the East West bookstore in NYC, bought and played it for everyone who loves beautiful harmony and an ounce of spirituality.
I think it is one of the most beautiful recordings I have ever heard.
Kirat people in Nepal connection with Mongolia-China-Japan and India.

Thank you for sharing this version that is the most beautiful, I’ve ever heard.
I heard it in India in 1994 as I was visiting Sai Baba, and I just started crying because of its beauty.
thanks scotty for compiling such a diffrent shiv bhajan
In 2000, I had a cassette recording of this beatiful rendition. But in the cassette, it went on for abt half an hour or more brfore fading out. A German woman gave it to me. She was my yoga teacher. Whenever I hear this, I remember her teaching yoga to me. I used to visualize her doing different yogasanas as well.
I esp remember the relaxation technique she used with me and the other people who attended her classes. So nice. I would be out for 15 minutes. LOL
According to Dr Yadubamshi, during the period before the hymns of the Yajuveda had been composed but later than the Rig and Atharvavedic periods, a non-Aryan god was fused with God Rudra. This non-Aryan god, he adds, was worshiped by some tribes in the Himalayan valleys, including the Kiratis. (Shaivamata :The Shaiva Sect)

The world religion which we known today were started from the indigenous tribe. Jesus was born into Judah tribe in Israel. His Jewish name is “Yeshua”. Prophet Muhammad the founder of the religion of Islam was born into Quraysh tribe. Siddhartha Gautama who became a Buddha( “awakened one”) was born into Shakya tribe. As for Shiva in the Hindu trinity, he was from Kirat tribe hence he is better known as Kirateswor(Lord of Kiratas) in the vedic script.
There’s no such thing as trinity!
There is such a thing as the Trimurti, as practiced by the likes of the Balinese Shaivites in Indonesia.
Dilip rai Like Jesus, Buddha and Mohammad none of those tribes have a monopoly on thier originators and Shiva is worshipped by many hundreds more times people than there are Kiratas. Shiva is not merely the God of a tribe. You should understand that.
@kumarsa108 i didn’t say Shiva is merely the God of a tribe.
Whai i am saying is that religion of Shivaism originated from Kirat tribe.
Later this religion felled into vedic culture or Hinduism.
Hope this help.
Even shiva is not mentioned in Rigveda(1800BC), he did existed from atleast 2400BC. The Harppan Seal from 2400BC clearly shows him as lord Pashupati(protector of animals), he is oldest god worshipped in Hinduism. I bow to the great Lord.
@pingala10 check the video—> “Kirat Temple”
and you will see the untainted form of Shivaism that has not been influenced by vedic Aryan Brahmins.
Kirat are the natives of the Himalayas region including Nepal.
Kirat also find references in Veda and other ancient texts.
